Default USB Modem for Foreign Students

Hi All

We are students visiting India from the United States and Canada. We tried to purchase a USB modem from Reliance but were directed to quite a bit of paper work and bueracracy becuase we weren't Indians. Is there a service which wouldn't require all of this.

Thank you so much

if you are a foreigner, you may be involved with the current security acts...so be ready, and its just part of our National security, so nothing to worry if you are genuine...

paper work and ID Proof is something which everyone need to submit, no one can get a internet or phone connection without verification and submitting formal documents.
Its 100% normal and you really need not to worry about this and as per i know in US as well you need to provide your documents and SS Number to get any new connection.

Its just a prcedure which ISP need to follow

Sarfraz I appreciate your help and concern but i request you not to disclose your personal/ contact details on open forum as it is against forum rules.
Please check FAQ Section
