Do what just4kix has told and also assign a static IP in your control panel
To do that, do the following
--Go to control panel, open network connections
--Right click on your network driver and then click properties
--Then in the dialogue box which appears, double click on TCP/IP settings
--then select the option "use the following IP address" then enter these values
IP address: 192.168.1.(any no. b/w 2 to 254, say 5)
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 (or just press tab)
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Primary DNS: 208.67.220.220
Sec. DNS: 208.67.222.222
This should help a little bit in connecting your phone!
