Default Bridged mode to PPPOE

I flashed my Siemens c2110 modem to the new firmware and since then I have to connect by going to 192.168.1.1 everytime? I want the old dial on need facility back. what to do?

Do a reset of your modem using the reset button which can be found in the modem. After doing so, create a new pppoe connection, using the new connection wizard, which can be found in the network connections..

Nothing's happening dude!I think the firmware has to be rolled back! Where can I get the old firmware? Can anyone tell me?

1.open 192.168.1.1.
2.enter username as 'admin' and password as 'admin'
3.Click the configuration tab.
4.Click the internet connection.
5.Now you will see the connection named as bridge_0_35 along with many bridge connections.If you do not see bridge_0_35 connection then you have to see the connection whose vpi value is 0 and vci value is 35.
6.Delete this connection
7.Now click on the add tab.
8.Enter PVC name as bridge_0_35.
9.Enter VPI value as 0 and VCI value as 35.
10.Click next.
11.Click Bridging.Remember this is the most important step.Do not click PPP over Ethernet.
12.Click next.
13.Again click next.
14.Click apply.
15.Now click admin.
16.Click reboot.
17.Click reboot from last.
18.Wait for minute.
19.Now you can enjoy your broadband smoothly.Hopr this will help you.
