Thread: What are the Options avilable for temporary Internet connection ?

Hi,
I am going home & Need internet their for family temporarily(1 week), don't wanna take my family to internet cafe.Which connection should I take that's available for cheap & instant activation & no fees on termination ?
I can't take Reliance data card as I already have internet on my work city.
OR can I share some other BSNL connection via phone line ?

You can very well carry the Reliance data card with you whereever you go. Is there any specific reason for not carrying it?

I have my doubts whether anyone gives a connection only for a week. No ISP will recover the cost of installation, setup, administration, overheads, etc. with just one week connection (unless you use heavily, exceed the limit bountifully and pay heavily).

I advice you to take the Airtel Mobile office, its activated through mobile phone, connect your mobile to PC (as modem) start browsing.It has instant activation and no deposit.
Charges are 20 RS per 24 hrs, if you want the connection for a week then there is some discount also but the speed is not so good will get decent download speed of around 15-20 kBps which is not sufficient for video conferencing or watching you tube etc...!
