Thread: iti modem problem regarding sharing

hi

i m getting some problem regarding internet sharing through lan...through wifi it is going fine...but i want to share it through LAN Card....my problem is that on client computers whenever i do ip address automatically...it goes to limited connectivity...and when i do it manully...limited connectivity gone but net doesnt connect...what should i do...plz guide me...thanx.

ITI modem/router/WIfi you have.
Do you have installation CD for the modem ?

How many computers in the LAN ?
Enable DHCP in modem.
In all computers TCP/IP properties
enable Obtain IP address automatically.

Use "Always On'" PPP/PPPoE mode
instead of "Dialer" mode ( "bridged' in wan page )
