Arrow ipv4 settings vista confused please do help

    Hi,

I have two wifi routers MT841 (bsnl model type4)

and i have two internet connections tata wimax and bsnl broadband separately connected to two separate wifi routers

I have changed ssid for both and they both have different wlan password

But the problem is whenever i switch connections between them i have to change the adpater properties ie ipv4 settings

    for bsnl
i have to set it automatically assign ip

for tata wimax since it has static
    i have to type 192.168.1.1
    255.255. et
    192.168 etc
    202 54 6 60
    202 54 and so on

if i wont change it wont connect

could someone please help how to keep the adapter properties for each connection intact so i would get rid off this typing process

Or is there is any one click autoconfig software for ipv4 setting for vista wifi

    thank u

    please do help

    pradeep

    Lightbulb Same.??

I had the same problem. What I did was:
Connect the 2 routers together, made the 2 routers use the same p-word (not recommended for security reasons) then i made sure that both routers were on the same channel.
My problems went straight away. I now have 7 routers and 7 different problems.

Log in to the router that you have connected to the Tata Wimax and set it up as follows:

    1. Set the static IP and DNS addresses for the WAN connection.
    2. Set the router IP as something other than 192.168.1.1 which I suppose is the IP of your other router. Use something like IP - 192.168.5.1 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.255
    3. Enable DHCP in the LAN section of the Router and give it an address range of 192.168.5.10 - 192.168.5.128 . Adjust this value appropriately in case you have given the some other router IP than the one suggested.
    4. Setup your Vista system to get the IPv4 address automatically

You should be able to connect now...

    Cheers
