Default Port forwarding problem

GUYS i am sick and tired of configuring my tata wimax connection man..that is why i am posting this link here nd not in the main forum.

i had a port forwarding problem(without a router) so i got static ip now that problem is gone..

i had an airtel connection before this and i always used to get torrent speeds from 45-48 kB/s

after shifting to tata wimax i only get speeds of 35 -40 kB/s.i dont understansd this is it because of static ip.i have tried all the posssible settings in u torrent but the max it reaches is 41..
average speed is 36

normal downloads are fine..
what do i have to do??
anything oder than changin the isp..

plz plz help!!!

What is the advertised speed of your connection ? In utorrent,

ctrl + p > Bandwidth, try trial and error

Options > Speed guide > Select your speed

Check your port is open or not.

Try a torrent like Knoppix and check if you are using a good torrent.

can you increase the antenna height ?
How is the signal report as it is ?
Check speed at speedtest.net say Melbourne.
please mention the modem/model make.
Advertised speed upto 384 Kbps . Max 384/8= 48 KB/sec ( Ideal conditions )
Average 35-40 Kb/sec seems Ok.

Your Airtel was it broadband via landline , or USBModem or Datacard ?

yes i can increase the signal height
the signal strength is fluctuating between 25-28

theres the test as requested

model name is i think TELISIMA nothing is written on that(the white colour modems u get with WIMAX connections)

The airtel i had was broadband (dynamic IP) and i used to get average speeds of 45-48 constantly.. and now the connection is TATA WIMAX (static ip) with average speeds of 35-40
