    Follow this procedure to use the diagnose and repair tool to troubleshoot a failed network or Internet connection in Windows Vista:
    1. Click the Start button, and then click on the Control Panel.
    2. In the Control Panel window, click on the Network and Internet.
    3. In the Network and Internet window, click on the Network and Sharing Center.
    4. In the Network and Sharing Center window, under Tasks, click Diagnose and Repair.
    5. Follow the suggestions in the Windows Network Diagnostics window to repair the failed network or internet connection.
