    Default Multilinking Modems

Multilinking Modems are used to roughly double dial-up. The multilinking technology requires two dial-up accounts, two modems, two phone lines and an ISP support for multilinking. At times special software at the user end is also used. The Multilinking Modems are used with some high-end users. They were used much before ISDN, DSL and other technologies came in to existence. The speed of Multilinking Modems or dual line modems is faster. One should have an ISP to support line bonding. Multilinking Modems will lead to higher internet and phone charge compared to the ordinary dial-up charge. It is more suitable when you need many internet connections at the same time and is widely used.
