Port Forwarding in iBall Baton iB-LR6111A
There are three ways to open ports in iBall Baton iB- LR6111A (firmware: 2.0.0).
Port Forwarding using UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) Method
- UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)
- DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)
- Virtual Server
MODEM Settings
uTorrent Settings
- Go to MODEM/Router configuration page by opening http://192.168.1.1 in the internet browser
- Enter the “admin” (without quotes) as the username and password
- Select Access Management tab and then UPnP sub-tab
- Enable both UPnP and Auto-configured by selecting the radio button.
- Click Save
- Open uTorrent and go to Preference in Options menu
- Select Connection tab and select (add tick mark) “Enable UPnP port mapping”
- Click Apply, OK and it’s done

Port Forwarding using NAT (Network Address Translation) Method
Modem Settings
Note: NAT should be enabled in Interface Setup-> Internet, for the Virtual Circut the PPPOE connection is using. Set the same port number in uTorrent Options-> Preference-> Connection also. Disable (remove tick mark) "Randomize port each start".
- Open MODEM/Router configuration page
- Select Advanced Setup tab and then NAT tab
- Select the Virtual Circuit* you are using (example: PVC1) for PPPOE connection
- Click Virtual Server
- Select an unused Rule Index number
- Type the name of the application (ex: uTorrent)
- Select the protocol you are using (TCP protocol is used for by applications or select ALL if you need)
- Type the port range you are going to use (example: Start: 5700 & End: 5800 or both the same port if you only need to open a single port)
- Now type the Local IP Address* (example: 192.168.1.100).
- Click Save and it’s done

Modem Settings
- Open MODEM/Router configuration page
- Select Advanced Setup tab and then NAT tab
- Click DMZ
- Enable DMZ by selecting the radio button
- Enter the Local IP Address* (example: 192.168.1.100)
- Click Save and it’s done

*Virtual Circuit: Virtual Circuits are the same as the different connections you see in the WAN page of a UTSTARCOM UT300R2U MODEM, if you are familiar with it. You can view the details of Virtual Circuit by going to Interface Setup->Internet-> PVCs Summary.

*Local IP Address: You can find Local IP Address by going to Start-> Run-> type cmd and click enter. In the Command Prompt window, type "ipconfig/all" (without quotes) and click enter. It's the first IP Address value under the name of the network card/adapter (example: VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter) you see after entering ipconfig/all in Command Prompt.
