Rep Power: 0  |  How to connect SmartAX MT882 with DLINK DI-524 Hi, I have been using Huawei SmartAX MT882 [BSNL Broadband] for some time now. It connects via USB port to my Laptop/PC & work absolutely fine. I even tried to connect through the LAN & it works good. But now i want to use my wireless router [DLink DI-524] with this Huawei modem so that i can connect my other PC to the internet as well. I have tried the regular way of doing it, but it does not work. Can you please let me know the steps for doing this? I would like to keep the current SmartAX MT882 settings untouched. Appreciate your help. Thanks. Dhruba. |

Rep Power: 12  | If you can save/backup present modem settings of MT882 to say C:/My Documents/MT882 settings Confirm 1.you are not Using a Dialer with MT882 to connect to Internet. 2. You can transfer the LAN Rj45 from mT882 to the WIFI Internet Port or LAN1 port and try. Check the useful guides by @just4kix in this forum. Models may be different but procedure is same 3. Confirm you need WIFI mode. and how many computers in use laptop ____ desktop _____ ? |
