    Default Modem Freeze

    Dear Group members,

Happy Diwali and Prosperous New Year to All.

This is my first post with specific problem

    I am having two ISP's BSNL(256 unlimited) & TATA(1.5 Mbps Unlimited).

I Am using Both of them simultneously through virtual pc.One by ethernat and second one through USB. By virtual machine both are behaving separately having different IP's.

Among them BSNL modem UT 330R2 freeze randomly.Downloading and all activities hang out.

To recover from it I either unplug and replug modem or unplug and replug USB wire. After it all activities go smoothly for sometime and cycle repeat.

Is there any solution for this.

Is there any utility, which observe download rate and reset or reboot modem accordingly.

    Regards .

If you need uninterrupted 24/7 broadband connection
there is need for using a Loadbalancing router.
The purpose is, if one ISP fails, the other
    ISP's service will be available.

Are you connecting both to a SINGLE Computer ?
Both ISPs connected in "Always ON" mode. or "dialer " mode ?

    Hi,
    essbebe

    Thanks for reply.

I think I didn't explain my situation very well.

First of all my BSNL modem is UTSTARCOM -UT300R2U.

TATA modem is XAVI make X7721r+.

I have one pc with XPSP3. Inside it I have installed virtual pc with XP SP2. So both PCs are working independantly.

In my host pc I use TATA broadband connection with Ethernat connection. And on guest (Virtual)PC I am using BSNL Broadband with USB port. Both are functioning independantly and simultneously. Always "ON" condition .I use a Word Independantly Because of both have different IP addresses.

In this senario,I need modem reboot/resetting utility which can be oprate at download rate.i.e if download rate falls below certain limit it reset modem.

    Regards

Request a modem change with your ISP.
