Thread: Problem with modem!

HI!
i got my new rental modem.it is Nokia Siemens Networks............

there are a few things hat i don't like in it.

1st is that there is no model name written on the modem!no ware it is written.i didn't even got the box of the modem.the BSNL guy took out the modem from box and handed it to me and got away!


2nd and the most bad thing!when i turn on my modem then after a while the WLAN light gets on.but in my laptop there is no wifi around!!!!!!!as a result i have to open the modem configuration page and first disable the wifi and then reboot.then again i have to enable wifi and reboot!only then the wifi is detected on the laptop!

Plz help me!!!!!!!!
