In India T-1/DS-1 are managed and regulated through Public Service Commissions in each and every state. T-1 services have actually very strict and are used under rigid service requirements. T-1/DS-1 have a very high provider's maintenance costs and also makes it necessary for the provider to have a technician on standby for 24 hours a day. This is done to repair any malfunctions or faults that effect the line. Please note that ISDN and DSL connections are not regulated by the Public Service Commissions. They are used by huge business houses and it firms for fast and consistence internet connection. They are not used for individual users or small organizations. |
