Click "View available Wireless Networks "
Do you see your WIFI network name ?
    Any other Network secured unsecured?
    ( For XP PRO SP3)
    2. Or select REPAIR
what is the error message ?
    3.
    Start/RUN type cmd OK
    New window
    type ipconfig /all

thanks ! i manage to connect on wifi
at the beginning it worked allright but now the connection is very slow... downloading never excedes 20 kb/s wictch i thing is low even for a 512 connection. the modem is also oftenly rebooting ... but i guess that's just busy land line traffic witch make him loose the connection ..
anything i can do to improve this ?
i know there is some boosters but any suggestion on witch one is really working and is not another marketing spam-loaded ripoff ?

thanks i folowed some of the reference guide and i managed to connect by wifi
but it is very slow : my download speed never goes over 20 kb/s witch i believe to be quite slow even for a 512 connection speed .
would you have any advice for speeding up ?
also i have to reboot my wifi connection every time to connect it, otherwise it won't even show on the available wireless connection widow

    @gozoflo

Reset you router with the help of the reset button at the bottom of your router press it for 2 to 3 seconds until the LED's start going off, then configure your router and check whether your Wi-Fi problem is solved or not.

Refer: Modem configuration: WA 3002 G4

Please check the speed on LAN connection/WLAN connection same server..
    Start Network WLAN
    Properties
    Wireless settings page opens
    Check TCP/IP
    properties
    IN DNS
    add
    208.67.220.220
    208.67.222.222
    Apply SAVE.
Retest speed again. Do not expect dramatic increase.
    Target 512/8 = 64 KB/sec Maximum.
    ( Practical speed 30 to 50 KB/sec)

    Airtel
    or speedtest.net.

In your computer only some tweaks can be made.
    Try TCP/IP optimizer
    from Speedguide.net.

For ref : Not to be done now.

hello!did u try encrypting( securing with password 5 digits)ur modem by goig into IP ad 61.1.129.36/bsnl?there enter Id "admin" and pw "admin".Enter.u will get the encryption page.It will give u a choice of 64 bit/128bit.Choose 64 bit.it will ask for 5 digit password.enter it and save.then try connecting it.when u click connect it will ask for the pw once.if u are successful then it will connect automatically in future.
