    Default Google Sidewiki

    When I opened my browser about 2minutes ago, Google Sidewiki appeared!!!

    But I dont know how to remove this, anyone know how to do it?

    You can uninstall it [Google Toolbar] from Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel like any other software.

    right answer!

    but i just uncheck the toolbar that i don't want instead of uninstalling it.......i am lazy to do it..

    Me too.

    Google Side wiki is a feature in Google Toolbar and can be disabled without uninstalling Google Toolbar. Check the screenshot.

    why do you actually have to go into control panel, I mean its not something which has been installed by ourselves is it?

    i think it is installed by our permission.

    Remember if u installed a software and in hurry just clicked next........
    sometimes some softwares integrate another program....

    And sometimes the toolbar/addon installation option is hidden in a License Agreement style menu. So it's hard to notice.

    You probably use firefox Preeti.
    On top right hand side there is a tab called options left click on it then chosse option from there and you will get a new window... go to the tools tab and uncheck the sidiwiki thinggy to disable it.

    Let me know if you get stuck on something
