Torrents are very popular these days. Most of the download takes place through torrents. The main advantage of using a torrent is that you can stop in between and resume at any time. All you have to do is to hit the pause or stop button. A torrent not only saves bandwidth of the hosting site but also helps us improve the speed using higher number of seeds.
Most of us use private trackers to download torrents. There is a strict ratio restriction in most of the sites. You need to maintain your ratio above one to successfully continue as a member. To get a ration above one, we need to a upload as much as we can. What will we do if we have to format the system in between? There are two possible scenarios.
1. I lost the seeding ability to seed completed files
2. I have to redownload the files which I have completed as partial downloads.
For both problems, we have a single solution. Go to preferences using ctrl + p keys. Go to directories, “location of downloaded files”, change it into any folder of your choice. Now place the downloaded files to this folder. Both completed and partial downloads. Now add torrent to the utorrent . As you have given the folder as directory of your choice, it will resume from there. All the best.
