Thread: Wi-Fi Works after standby

Hey all,
My problem is that when i switch on my wi-fi modem it connects and signal strength is Excellent.....but i cant access to internet.
But when I put my laptop on standby and again log in,it starts working.
Plz Help and if needed plz explain the settings required.

Settings in your Wireless LANcard
Advanced settings to be checked.

Start/Network/WLAN
Properties
WLAN settings page
ON top
select Configure
Advanced
check settings.

i think problem is not with wifi but ur laptop(or any wifi device).

check on any other device if u r able to connect without standby.

if so, try reinstalling windows.

Checking whether "power Save Mode " is selected.

And what about ur laptop???
did u try on another one???
was it fine???

if so there might be a problem with laptop wifi drivers.
