How to check whether a Website is down for everyone or its just for you?


Sometimes we are not able open some or one website which we manage daily we might think that it is a problem with website but things might be different, we may face this problem if there is problem with our ISP, DNS or PC.

Last time when i faced such a problem i searched the web and found a tool, with the help of which we can check whether the website is down for everyone or it is just for you. Down for everyone or just me? its fast and simple.

The other way is using Proxies, it might happen that the website which you are not able to connect or access can be accessed or opened through these proxies. You can try lots of web based proxies at http://proxy.org/

The last and the least ask someone whether he is able to access or open a website which you are not able to.

You could also use www.pagewash.com which is more reliable and is run by godaddy themselves and its a whole lot faster.

Nothing to feel bad in this brother, if i had seen such a thread already created then for sure i wont create it as a duplicate that why i said if you have the link for the old thread and if its duplicate i am happy to delete it.

I am not bothered about the thread count for contest nor my post count, because i know i will be contributing few stuff and then will leave so nothing to worry
