my isp is tikona, my package is ful599, in this package i should get a speed of about 37.5 KB. most of the time i only get about 5-9KB, when i call their customer care, they try to abuse me and make mockery of me by asking really irrelavent questions. like "have you tried cleaning temporary files of the internet explorer" i don't use internet explorer and i've been using internet for 12 years i'd know when whats causing the problem. like this they have a retinue of questions to ask and fool to believe the problem is with my pc.(they want to fool and silence the customer). strangely when a technician from tikona visits, on that day the speed problem automatically corrects itself. it clearly show that they slow down speed. what can you people suggest?
now here is the myth: during my conversation with one of the customer care personnel she tried to fool by saying the slow speed is being caused by antivirus software, because it has check every chunk of traffic, i replied i have a tata photon+ and there is no problem in that. my reply shut her up and the speed was fine for few days, and few days the slow speed problem came back.
there are a lot of other stupid reasons they give to fool and silence which i'll share with you if you are interested.
