    Default suggest a wifi router

I have a airtel broadband cable connection which I use with my PC. Now I have bought a laptop and need a wifi router. Please suggest a good wifi router that doesn't compromises on speed and connection and is also cheapest. I have to use only one laptop with that router and PC also if possible. I have a flat with three rooms in which I will use router.
I have found Linksys WRT54G2 being most common and reliable among wifi routers but its price is about Rs.2200. Is it suitable for me??
Please suggest as suitable router and its price also if possible.

I just got a Belkin router for Rs 1400+tax 3 days. It works great with my airtel broadband. Its got decent range, i have connected 2 laptops and 2 desktops to it at my home.

Ask Airtel to give you 3-in0ne WIFI model
in exchange for present Adsl modem.

You may get Beetel 450BXI or Beetel 450TCI.
Extra NON refundable Deposit Rs 500/=
    No rental charges.

I have heard about Beetel450BXI that it has got range and connection problem. What I need is to access internet from almost every corner of my house. Will Beetel 450BXI be useful for me?

    What is your Budget ?
Even if you pay Rs 500 additional NON refundable Deposit and get a wifi modem from Beetel, and not satisfied with the wifi range, you can continue to use it
    as a simple ADSL modem,
    OR
buy another WIFI router minimum Rs 1500/ and try.

Wireless signals need "Line of Sight" and Antenna at a higher plane and there is no surety, the signals will be picked up in all the rooms.
A range with radius of about 40 to 50 feet from the unit location possible

    *conditions apply !

You can Buy a WIFI router with detachable
    antenna or multiple antennae.
Use additional Antenna for your requirements.

TEST: if you have a cordless phone , from your computer position (, page the base station ( or use Intercom mode ) with the Handset from different rooms. If you can
communicate, ( 2.4 Ghz Cordless preferred)
a Dual Antenna WIFI router may work.
