Thread: Easiest way to check your internet downloading speed

Stop going to speedtest.net to test your download speed as it consumes more data, now try this. This will only consume 500 KB or less to check speed.
The most easiest way to check your internet downloading speed:

Start Test

This will only check download speed not upload speed.
This is a stuff that i get my own website.

I told this one because it is not normal and no one used it.....

These speed tests are taken only to get an idea about the speed.
In actual practice, when you surf the speed will be very less, depending on the websites
server.
A download Manager also shows , the speed
at which the file is being downloaded.
Speed tests taken on servers at say
Delhi/Sydney/New York/ Honk Kong etc will show vast difference.
I use TweakDUN 2.2 to monitor the speed
continously.
Usually we believe to be accurate, the speeds shown from Microsoft servers.

However the link you had given, is very useful, for users with limited download ( NOT U/L). Unable to give Rep + ( 13 points ) now. . Please remind me after some time.
