Question Using two broadbrand connections (not simultaneously)

    I use an Acer desktop Aspire SA90 along with a 2-wire 2700 HGV - 2 homeportal.

I have been using BSNL broadband for the past one year without any major connectivity problems. I recently got a Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus connection too. However, after I installed the software that came with the USB modem, I am unable to obtain connectivity through the BSNL broadband.
I have checked with BSNL, and the line seems to be okay.

    The following is what happens:

    1. I have no problems connecting through Reliance Netconnect.

    2. I cannot connect through BSNL broadband. The DSL line indicator, along with the the Ethernet and Internet indicators are off in the 2-wire homeportal. Only the power indicator glows green or flickers.

    3. The Local Area Connection indicator in the Notification Area gets active and and inactive (with a red cross next to the icon). Only power indicator glows (in green) in the homeportal. Steady light when LAN gets active and flickers when LAN inactive. Keep getting bubbles that show Local Area Connection plugged/Local Area Connection unplugged above the notification area.

    4. When LAN icon active, IPCONFIG command returns a message that the media is disconnected. None of the other IPCONFIG commands work.

    5. Ping IP address also does not work.

    6. TCP/IP is okay.

    7. Clearing ARP cache works

    8. I have tried entering the IP address manually (Network connections/TCP/IP tab), but does not work.

    9. Repair network connection (when icon is active in the notification area) returned a message 'cannot renew IP address)

Can anyone help me fix this problem? Thanks in advance

Start > run > cmd > ipconfig/all, post the data.

None of the ipconfig commands work.

ipconfig /all gives a message that the media is disconnected
