Internet Explorer 8 Hello friends,
I am using Google Chrome as my default browser.Is anybody using IE8? if so can u tell me about its advantages/disadvantages over FF n Chrome?I noticed at times Chrome browser behaves strangely.For example when u click a mail from facebook on gmail it doesnt take u to facebook when u are in chrome browser.Which is the best browser to have as DEFAULT?

But use Internet Explorer when IE9 will be released.

IE9 version available for only OS Vista SP2 and above, for testing.

I found Chrome 3 times faster than Firefox.
My pages of IBF loads in less than 1 sec. in Chrome and even more faster in Maxthon(will use it when Maxthon 3 will be released as alpha version has no options).
but here ff loads IBF in 2-3 seconds when chrome hits the page in 5 seconds.

Even loading of my Orkut Home page is talking less than 2 sec including redirection........

If you are having problem with Chrome switch to Firefox or Opera. Both are excellent browsers. I am using IE 8. It is an OK browser.

Yes. I am using Chrome. Found it perfectly Ok. But if anyone is having problem, then it is better to switch to other browsers.
Internet explorer 8 Hi, Thanks very much for ur reply.I am using BSNL Home Combo plan 500 which is limited to 1.5GB.with 175 free calls per month.OF course the limited DL/UL is no deterrent for me.but it seems from ur advice it wud be better to make FF my default browser.btw what is this Maxrhon?hvmnt heard of it.PL throw some light on that.

FF will be beneficial because using Ad-block+ and Flash-block+ you will suppress flash ad's that consume some bandwidth. This also prevents annoying pop-ups - ever seen them on rediff.com, timesofindia.com? These flash ad's are very irritating.
FF takes more time to load the first time but very quick afterwards.
I use IE8 as well as FF. There are some sites (written in aspx) that work better in IE (not that they don't work in FF; but IE is better for such sites).

Maxthon has internal flash blocker and ad blocker in it.
It supports extensions of itself with extensions of IE.
It use Trident with Webkit engine and much faster in all aspects with Firefox.

That is because most of the users are using Firefox.
google chrome 2nd.i think beacause it has less addons compared to FF.
FF wins because of its addons.
