Same here. Since Thursday even my connection is working slow. So I am using google dns right now. Perhaps Open DNS servers are having some bad days.

Thanks Vignesh. I switched back to BSNL DNS. Pages are loading fine now. My previous experience with Google DNS not good. But will try if BSNL DNS is not performing.

I Don't Think These Dns Servers Play A Big Role In Browsing Speeds.

If U Want To Find Out The Best Dns Server For You Try NameBench From GOOGLE

I have found OpenDNS slow sometimes. Whenever I find that websites are loading slowly, I check the speedtest. I switch the DNS and that resolves the issue.

Even just now on seeing a members post on DNS I changed my DNS to open DNS that 222 one but found that pages literally loaded slowly so changed back to default settings. That automatic DNS one.

Yes, Open DNS [208.67.222.222;208.67.220.220] is slow sometimes. I have switched to Google DNS [8.8.8.8;8.8.4.4] because of that.

Google DNS is slow, instead it is very very slow. BSNL DNS is best but not in the evening because of heavy load on BSNL.

For different users in different regions, the 'best' DNS for the user varies a lot. Both Open DNS and Google DNS are reliable and are internationally acclaimed. For me though, all DNS benchmark softwares say that BSNL DNS is the fastest! but not reliable.
So I have set my DNS in the following order-
    8.8.4.4
    8.8.8.8
    208.67.220.220
    208.67.222.222

I shuffle amongst them whenever required.

Right now I'm satisfied with the DNS of BSNL and Reliance connections.
