Thread: How to download torrents???

This is the beginner guide for the users who o not know how to download torrents. Simply follow the steps:

1. Download a torrent client .The most common clients are uTorrent, Flashget, Deluge, Azureus, BitTorrent,Bitcomit and Opera.There are plenty of other clients available as well on the internet just download any one.Follow the instructions on downloading and installing your chosen client in your computer.

2. Go to a torrent site like Pirate Bay (popular site) and search for a file you want to download and then download the .torrent file in your computer.

3. Just open that .torrent file with the torrent client you have installed. The client will show the screen to choose where to save the downloaded torrent. Just select the location and start downloading.

4. If you want to download with full speed than limit the uploads to 30% of your maximum upload speed. As in broadband the download speed suffers because of uploads.

5. To get maximum speed. Go to options and set upload slots to 4 if you have limited your uploads and if you have not limited your upload than set it to 14. In the advanced options set half open connections to 1000 so as to get maximum speed. set number of connection per torrents to 999 if the torrent has large number of peers but you are getting low speed but set it to 250 if the peers are uploading at good speed to you as if number of connection increases data is wasted to connect them and to share speed and % downloaded between them.

You can try it by making a torrent and sending it to your friend for practice and see how it works..........
