UT300R2U essbebe's compilation.

INTRODUCTION
This utstar modem has been in use for a pretty long time,
and now Bsnl is issuing this with a modified Firmware.
The firmware board of present model is mostly
Board ID: 96338L-2M-8M
A 96338W will indicate a wifi router. with
additional firmware.


2 . Details
This board is common to many other adsl modems,
and issued under different brand names,with some additional menu items.
Unfortunately in BSNL supplied modems, Under NAT port forwarding and Virtual server options are not available and many users are forced to use the DMZ option.

3. Firmware
Only way is to try a Firmware upgrade, and
Beetel 220BX FW may be suitable.
Original FW, if available can be tried. Not listed here. Use SEARCH Box here for old threads
Not recommended for beginners/newbies.
Always there is a risk of making the Modem useless.
