    Intro
An attempt is being made to give details of ALL Airtel modems presently in use for benefit of members here.Usually Once Airtel sets up the connection, rarely, user will need to change anything. In some modems,a remote access is available(client TR_069) which can be disabled(user's option).Usually Airtel CC replaces the modem free of cost, with improved firmware or version.

    FIRMWARE Update
The device info does not show the FW version and we have to type 192.168.1.1/look.html to get FW version.
Experienced users can Update FW ,but not required./needed normally.
(AIRTEL will replace the modem mostly!!! email 121 @ airtel.in)
However I will give the latest for ADSL MODEM ONLY.one via comand prompt ( old FW version: 1.9 MB)

Default Beetel 220BXI (w/USB) setup for BSNL broadband not working for PPPoE connection

    Hi Essbebe et al.,

I had an Beetel 220BXI model, used before for Airtel connection, that I am trying to use it for my new BSNL broadband at bhubaneswar. For the last two days I went thru all the posts on PPPoE setup suggested by you but still this router is not working. The BSNL guy did setup for Dialer mode and it's working perfect and he is not helping for PPPoE mode. He is telling me he had never setup this modem and interested to sell his another old modem to me.

Please find my attachment for the setup i did as per your advice. Now I think router is all good, there might be some problem with the ethernet.

    ethernet adapter ipconfig status:

    to update you all,

I just ran diagnostics again in the third table "test authentication with IsP" is only PASS and rest all in this table FAIL. I do not how it changed to this I just reboot the modem and recheck the status.

Still NO INTERNET thru ethernet. I am dying to setup always on internet thru this modem.

    Thanks,
    Bijay

The above test with FAIL results means that your configuration is not correct. Check the VPI/VCI values. These should be 0 and 35 respectively for BSNL.

    hi essbebe,
i got this beetel 450TC1 ADSL + Wifi Router by Beetel supposed to be for Airtel but am using it with my BSNL

    connection.firmware is TM4-0Q-020

I cannot change the settings of my modem, whenever i change them and save the settings the previous settings

are applied again for my modem!
I cannot change the settings at all.
I got my new BSNL username and password
It is PPPOE already and as I mentioned it works flawlessly with wired LAN. Wifi is the problem. It does connect

but internet is not available. Dsl link is esablishing but internet light not glowing and not working.
Please suggest how can i change the settings of my modem! by reading few threads, i did few changes as follows:

    1. logged on to 192.168.1.1 and changed router configuration according to BSNL setting
    2. selected PVC2 with 0/35 in activate mode for Bsnl, rest all PVC'S deactivated.
    3. inserted Bsnl user name and password.
    4. mtu: 1492 bytes
    5. user auto detect dhcp
    6. selected connection pppoe, dynamic ip.
    7. didnt amde any wifi setting. let internet work with wire first.
    8. disabled ACL & CWMP settings
    9. restarted with current settings

    What am I doing wrong?
