Thread: Static IP Connection

I am a Asianet Dataline subscriber from Kerala. To get a static IP connection, I recently upgraded my plan to HOMENET 950. It has free surfing hours from 00.00 to 08.00 AM. I had paid one year subscription amount in advance to get this static IP connection. Now my ISP says I can't avail the free surfing hours because it can't be monitored. They says they have provided me a leased line connection for the IP to be static and since it is always on, it can't be monitored.

I would like to know whether this is true or not?

If the plan says free download static and or Dynamic Ip does not matter.

does it show same connection after each disconnect/reconnect? Send a email to CC and get something in writing.

Hi essbebe, thanks for responding to my query. Yes, it was a condition to avail static IP connection, also we should subscribe atleast HOMENET 950.

Homenet 950 / Homenet 1500 customers can now surf free from 00:00 Hrs to 8AM. (4 hours free extra hours over the previous plan)

enter homenet950 in both columns. WEF say 1st July 2010.
