Thread: Virtual Server in Beetel 450tc1

Hi,

I was trying to set up a webserver on my machine. I'm using the beetel 450tc1 wireless router.

I created a virtual server on that router, selecting 80 as the starting and ending port and putting my local ipv4 address in the local IP address field.

However, when I try to connect to my webserver using my public IP, I get redirected to the wireless router setup page instead of the webserver home page.

I've tried restarting my machine and the router.

If I try to connect to my public IP from my machine itself, then I get redirected to the router page.

But when I tried the same link from my phone it worked. It works from outside the network.

So I'll have to use local IP when accessing from same machine, but it works fine otherwise

Try NO - IP or Opera Unite for sharing files. Much more easier.
