Thread: Please help me with my new router

I currently own a teracom type2 router it works flawless. But when i try to use wifi it su*ks. I can neither connect my n82 nor my new ipod touch.
Then with the help of my uncle i bought linksys WRT54GP2A-AT, from USA. But i cant connect it to internet. but the wifi works perfectly(it connects to wLan but cant access internet as it isnt configured correctly) please help me to configure it.
It does not have bridge mode option. only pppoe and others like static ip etc..
please help me to configure it.
I noticed that when i plugin my dsl cable to the 'internet port' of the linksys it doesnt blink or glow.
By the way im using BSNL broadband

For your Teracom modem,

1. Configure in PPPoE

Teracom Type-II ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION

2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

3. In the TCP/IP properties of your connection, set " Obtain IP address automatically ".
