Default Which ISP and what offer to use?

    Hello there!

I will be moving to Delhi(around laxminagar) from Nepal in a few week. So, I would like to know what are the internet options available for me. Since I really don't download much a 256kb UL would be fine. Could you suggest a good connection along with the price rate.

Lastly, I apologize if this is the wrong section to be asking this question.

I wouldn't mind paying upto Rs 1000 a month and yes, I would like an unlimited plan( I'm not a heavy downloader but I do surf a lot) .

Do I require a telephone connection to use UL 499 and Ul 625 combo? Is the Home 500 plan from BSNL available in Delhi and if it is what are the equipments I need to purchase?

Also, thanks for the quick response

Those plans were BSNL. I think you need MTNL tariff. Check this link

    Broadband

MTNL tariff are better than BSNL. You may also check Airtel's plans too.

You need a telephone line to get a wireless connection.

You may also try MTNL 3G. There is an offer of Rs. 4,200 for six months which becomes Rs. 700 per month. You do not need a land line for it.

Well, I think I will go for the Airtel 699 plan for a few months and after I get settled properly I will switch to MTNL if necessary.

Good. I suggested MTNL because it is cheaper. Airtel got the best customer care. Nice decision.

Can you please give the link to Airtel's tariff page ?
