    Default Which Wireless router

    Hi all,
I got a DLink DIR-600 wireless 150 router about 6 months back. Within a week of using it, the router started crashed and finally refused to bring up Wifi. So i sent it for servicing. I got it back with DD-WRT firmware instead of the D-Link firmware. It worked fine until today. The router crashes every few hours and i have to do a hard reset everytime to get it working again(power cycling doesnt work). I'm thinking of replacing it with a new wireless router. I did some research on the routers in the market and ended up more confused then when i started. Also now i'm used to the many features of DD-WRT, i want to get a router that can support reflashing with DD-WRT some time in the future if not immediately.

So what do you guys think? which is the most reliable router currently out there. I can stretch to Rs 3K on this.

    Thanks

Once you flash other firmware warranty is void.
    select from following list/s

    Example: DLINKlist

    Hi ,
I did go through the DD WRT list. But i'm hesitant to go for a DLink router again. What is your opinion? Is my router issue a one off case or is there a problem with DLink routers in general. Also which other routers have you found to be more reliable.

    Thanks.

Are you using the DD-WRT firmware or the one provided by DLink?

I reflashed the router with the latest DD-WRT update(DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/12/10)), its been running for 5 hrs without crashing.. Let see if it has really fixed the problem.
