Default Connecting to wifi through mobile.

    Hi friends,

I have a Sciphone Dream G2 +wifi mobile phone. I also have a BSNL type 2 wifi modem. The wifi connection works fine with my laptops. But when I try to connect to the same WiFi nw through the Sciphone Dream G2 mobile , it tells "Unable to connect". Can any of you please guide me how to configure the wi fi settings on this mobile? Any help is greatly appreciated.

PS: Sciphone Dream G2 is a China phone. Everything works perfectly in it. I am just unable to configure the WiFi setting in this. So please help me out.

    Thanks for any help.

    Default

SciPhone is a knock off the HTC Dream and has some features of the T Mobile G1 - namely it runs........

Presume you connect in "Always On" PPP/PPPoE mode
( USERID PW entered in modem/router WAN page )
    Enable DHCP.
Does your SSID wifi name appear in your phone ?
or any other secured/unsecured wifi networks ?
