Change VPI/VCI values to 0 - 35. Also your ID and password in the configuration page.

Thanks. I have already changed VPI/VCI values to 0 - 35 and the result is not positive.

I have been using a adsl modem earlier for few years and it is a trouble in running ethernet cables to each of the rooms. I thought of upgrading my self to a wireless router as my previous one also stopped working. I am now in a trouble of not able to connect to internet.

I have a serious question on the username. I use to connect to the internet with a username and password, but with the new ADSL router (wireless) I thought the username should be Username@dataone and the password as previous. Is this correct?

No, no need to enter dataone.in. Just username will be sufficient.

This may be of some use

Have you changed the MTU value ?
    try 1492 and lower values.
    MSS default 0 ?

Presume your ID is abcd @dataone.in with IP 59.xx.xx.xx

Settings are as usual. see red in picture .

    Congrats.
try channel No 11 or 6. for wifi
    1. Confirm you are using an EXTERNAL Dialer to connect >
UserID/PW NOT entered in modem page.???
    2.
    abcd@dataone or abcd@dataone.in. ?
    3.
Does the wifi networks name (SSID) appear
in your laptop ? click Icon in Taskbar and select show all connections.

    4.
Copy/Paste ipconfig /all for wlan & LAN net work.

    1. I have keyed in the USERID and Password in the router page. I am not using any external dialler
    2. username for the router is abcd@dataone (only, no .in)
    3. Yes the SSID is set and it appears in the laptop... and was able to connect it. Problem in this case is that, after connecting... it show me as limited connectivity... I am using the channel 1 for wifi, may be this needs to be looked in to.

I also suspect the Firewall and allow this connection in my firewall...may be this should resolve the issue. I am not able to post the ipdetails now as I am doing it remote with the help of someone who is not available now.... hope to post the details tomorrow.
