Thread: cannot connect to internet using wifi

i have got a T2-B-Gawv1.4U10Y-BI modem i want to connect my laptop to internet by using wifi with no cable is it possible
i mean just keeping my modem on and surfing the net on system
please can anyone help please

You laptop should have built-in Wireless LAN card
or insert PCMCIA Wlan card.
Dlink DWL-650 or Netgear WG511 v2 or Microsoft MN720 etc.

3.If your OS is windows 7 the laptop also will work as a
WIFI access point ( reduced range ), with an application called
"connectify"
( Internet connection and WLAN as above needed )

it worked for me now i set a passkey in settings for connecting first time it asked me the passkey but now it dosent and whats the matter
and i am also not able to connect my e66 to the wifi

@meetdilip has similar AR800V3 model
and has reported it is working satisfactorily.
