If your laptop is running Windows Home Premium or above and is connected to internet use Tata wimax, you can use " Connectify " to make your desktop a wifi hot spot. All you need is a wifi USB adapter (costs around Rs. 1,000) which will act as wifi adapter for your desktop ( just like your laptop).
