Thread: bit torrent 7.2 speed increase

please can any one tell me how can i increase my bit torrent 7.2 speed so that i can download movies or games at faster speed.
i am using bsnl ul750 plan which is said to give 512kbps speed
my current download at bittorrent is not more than 50 kbps

PLEASE HELP

1. Try port forwarding.

2. Use torrents with enough seeds.

3. Try private trackers.

4. Disable background downloads. Try downloading more than one file at a time.

is there any way to do this stuff automatically so i can get high speed

You can find a tool to automate port forwarding at portforward.com. But it is a paid one. Me too on UL 750. Getting around 55 KBps on well seeded torrents. Also I don't think port forward will very much affect your speed. Better try a torrent with enough seeds and check.

I think you are confused between kbps & KBps???
Am I right?

512 kbps = 64 KBps

If you are getting 50 KBps it is low compared to 64, but it is not that horrible...

the speed is actually quite good but still try dilip's suggestion and try one of the torrents from piratebay's top 100 list...you will get an idea of your max speed
