    This may help

Chennai Telephones- Changing password in DataOne Pre-configured modem

    If not working..

Post a screen shot of your " wireless " page.

    1. Configure you modem in PPPoE.

    2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

    3. In the TCP/IP properties of connection (in both PC and laptop), set " Obtain IP address automatically ".

    If still not working,

Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig/all, post the screen shot.

Need ipconfig/all for both PCs. Also post a screen shot of your Wireless page.

How do you connect to internet ? Do you need to click on " connect " in a dialer ? Or Just by switching ON your modem ?

You can use PrtScn button just above the " Home " button in the keyboard. Then go opaint, edit > paste. You can upload in tinypic.com and post the forum code here. Or under he window where you type to reply, under Additional Options > Attach files > Manage attachments. Upload your screen shot and paste the URL in the image link among BB code.

If PrtScn is not working for you, simply use " screen grab " add on in Firefox and upload it here.

In both laptop and desktop, in TCP/IP properties, enter the following IP address, 192.168.1.25, 192.168.1.30. Feedback.

Try WIFI mode without any security keys.
Disable MAC filter in your router.
