Thread: belkin q

Back at my friends house in delhi he has a MTNL BB connection. Telephone Line ---> Modem ---> Modem has USB, and Ethernet ports in back ---> Ethernet cable to computer --> In computer you manually enter ip address and dns.

All i did:
Telephone Line ---> Modem ---> Modem has USB, and Ethernet ports in back ---> Ethernet cable to my router --> In 192.168.2.1 i set the internet connection settings to the ip's and stuff that i copied from his computer..
So in other words USING the modem... Not plugging the phone line into the router!!!!
Modem connects to internet and AFTER that it sends internet to the router....
would this work with bsnl?
I would like to know if i can connect the BSNL type1 modem to my router...
