Hello Sir,
I am a total illiterate as far as wi fi is concerned. I ve purchased a new Spice Mi 270 with Wi-fi connectivity. I could connect to a wireless network but could not open any web page..plz suggest what 2 be done??
Plz explain the whole process gradually ...

Have you subscribed to any wireless connection plan ?

Do you have any Landline based Broadband connection ?

Who is the phone provider? Airtel/BSNL/Vodafone/Reliance etc.

To use WiFi connectivity option in your mobile, you will need an active, open WiFi network. You will get one if you have an internet connection with WiFi modem from service providers like Airtel / BSNL etc.

If you already have this, mention

1. Your Internet provider.

2. Modem - model and make

You can try this guide if your modem is not setup for WiFi broadbcast.

i have bsnl zte dsl type ii modem with wifi. windows 7 operating system . it shows connected with laptop but didn't browse but works fine with other wifi modem. tried all possible ways but no solution . plz help

I have tried all the above settings for my BSNL wifi (Nokia Siemens) modem but still i am unable to use internet on my Blackberry bold 9780 using wifi. I have tried with Connectify software. Still its not working.

Connectify is a good option. Very simple to use.
