There's always the print screen key!

I never remember the combinations for print-whole-screen and print-active-window, so trial and error is needed. One of the things I like about Ubuntu: the print screen utility is there already, simple and effective. I keep it on my desktop

    @Nick_H
Please also explain what he should do after using PrintSc key
    2.
Also there are other methods, but thread is hijacked>
mention of Ubuntu etc diverts thread starter's need.
Do you advise him to change to Ubuntu /?
for a simple query whether another ADSl modem can be used .

Feedback from user may be awaited for further comments.

Print screen, in Windows, copies to the clipboard. My method: paste each screen into a Word (or favourite WP program) to make a document to save and print.

Default Please tell me the configuration.

I am using the BSNL broadband AR800V v3.0 and I want to use the same BB connection with the HUAWEI SmartAX MT841. Please tell me the configuration.

The only settings you need to change are VPI/VCI should be 0 -35 for BSNL and use ID as username instead of ( username@bsnl.in ).

You can connect the RJ11 cable from the ADSL Splitter to one unit at a time. and use one modem only.

Since AR800V3 has 4 lan ports, additional systems can be connected from LAN1/Lan2/Lan3/Lan4 with rj45 cables ( maximum length 100 meters ).
    2.
If MT841 has wlan card wifi mode possible.
    3.
Spell out the reason for trying to use two units ( modems) to SAME BB connection.

Default Can my broadband get damaged?

I just bought a broadband and it was not working for a few days and I rebooted it a 5 times and reset it 3 times, one by pushing the small hole in the modem. Will my broadband speed or the broadband itself get damaged?

Your connection or the connection speed is not going to be affected because you tried to reset the modem a couple of times.

    Default Speed gradually decreasing

I am suing BB ULD 750 and while download a large file, the speed gradually decreases from 70 kBps to 54 kBps. Why is it so? How can I fix it?

Me too on UL 750. It is normal that speed fluctuates between 60 -70 KBps while downloading.

    May be you missed this

    512 Kbps = 512/8 = 64 KBps

    1 Byte (B) = 8 bits (b)

    Use Free Download Manager.
    http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
or use faster Browser Chrome or FireFox.
Same Tariff Plan upto 512 Kbps speed .

It happens to everyone who download primarily download starts from 150 kBps then goes to 50 and 54 and 58 and 68 and 72 and again 68 and 60..54..50..48..64..75..82..52.......

Don't need to worry about it as long as your connection ADSL light is stable.

P.S with UL750 it takes around 25-30 mins to download a 100 MB file.
