    I have my modem configured with the bridge modem and my laptop has been working just fine. I now have a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although the Wifi is detected, I am not able to browse. Do I need to change anything in the router?

    Yes, delete old dialers and create a new one. It should work for you.

    Are you in Bridge mode ? If yes,

    Go to " Network and Sharing center " ," set up a new connection or network " and create a dialer. Please note that first you need to be in bridge mode before you create a dialer using your ID and password.

    @moderator
    Please shift to BSNL forum.
    @sumeet4u
    PPPoE DIALER INSTALLATION

    @alokn99
    For Samsung Galaxy access to wifi.
    Instead of "Dialer" mode change over to PPPoE " always on
    ( store/enter. USERID/PW in WAN page )
    Enable DHCP. for ref:

    @ sumeetm4u

    Please don't confuse yourself.

    Log in to the modem > WAN page > 0_35 entry > Edit >

    Use this screen shot to change to bridge mode

    Save it and create or use existing dialer with your username and password.

    Ok, forget about bridge mode, use the " auto connect " dialer and check in PPPoE. Hope you know how to configure your modem in PPPoE. If not, try this guide

    Check in Broadband usage portal time blocks. later.
    Repeat: same at 0145 AM switch off modem
    start again at 0155AM use scheduler etc.
