Default Frequent Disconnection : Steps to troubleshoot

    1. Post your SNR and Attenuation values. Table for speed less than 8 Mbps

If your values are bad, ask the line man to give a clean line. Make sure there are no joints or non insulated parts.

    2. Make sure all connections come after splitter. Follow this diagram

Bypass the splitter, connect the line directly to the modem and check.

    3. Check if splitter or ethernet cable is faulty. Use a spare one and check.

    4. If possible get a friend's modem and check. That will confirm if modem is faulty or not.

    5. Do you get power reset ? If yes, check modem's power adpater and make sure it is functioning well.

    6. Try GDMT mode in modem and check.

    Nice information , meetdilip jee,

Incidentally, I had occasion to open and check few types of splitters. The data out in most of them is direct to line, though they could well manage a High Pass Filter, thus preventing ringing and DC as well as speech not to reach the modem. The phone socket has obviously a Low Pass Filter to suppress the data noise, not to reach the phone.

Even if data port is directly connected to line, the modem continues to work.

You have to use an ADSL splitter and connect a telephone.
Uncheck ADSl2 + button in Advanced options DSL page.

Enter Google DNs in dns page 8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4
Recheck SNR/Attn. Your line conditions are bad and likely you are about 6 to 7 Kms away from the telephone exchange. Check cables for blackening/rusting/ dull contacts( polish with nice emery paper)
Try a new Rj11 short cable from ADSl splitter.

    Similar model; Beetel110BXi

    Mode: G.DMT
    Type: Interleave
    SNR Margin (dB): 33.0 26.0
    Attenuation (dB): 13.0 9.0

    Feedback.

No problem. If you don't have a phone or need it for both incoming/outgoing calls.

We follow the advice of E Shanmugasundaram D.E of Bsnl given long bACK, and advice given in web sites.
