Thread: BSNL BB Usage checking

HI friends!All BSNL BB users with limited plans should be really annoyed with the new software to check usage whic h is accessed ONLY on IE.does anybody know ways of checking usage without Goin g into BSNL portal.I tried Shaplus.com.but it works in Winzip only.BSNL site gives data a week old.PLease suggest a method u may be using.Thanks in advance.

Try a bandwidth meter from Shaplus or Networx. You can also get SMS alert of your usage. Try bbusage.bsnl.in. You get a web client too.

Hi!Thgose users in karnataka and Hyderabad region may be ware tht the BB usage is monitored through selfcare,sdc.bsnl.in Is there any software like Shaplus which can access this site for monitoring usage?Shaplus accesses only data.bsnl.in which is only for TN and Kerala.pl help.

Shaplus/NetworX/Tautology BW meter etc are independent of ISP's usage portals. We use it to keep track of usage for a single system .

Only DATAFOX in FireFox or Chrome ( BSNL/MTNL) is used as specified by you.Mine data.bsnl.in

But unfortunately, all selfcare portals of BSNL are different and the author
seems to be busy otherwise .
However you can send your selfcare portal ID/PW to him and if application
not updated say within a month, you can change your PW.

Brian, maker of Datafox corresponded to me once. He said he was unable to update the software as he couldn't managed to get User ID and password for selfcare sites.

Try DataoneQUF (Dataone Quick Usage Finder) Google For It. Best Software. Also Calculates Your Bill... Though Not Updated. But Atleast U Get The Idea.

Hello! I am thankful to the responses.But your suggested ones access only dataone.bsnl whereas in karnataka it is selfcare.sdc.bsnl.in which None of these are able to access.Can anyone in Karnataka throw some light on this?u may know the SDC portal is so slow and accesible only on IE7 min.it is very annoying.all these problems bcoz i am on limited use plan.i am wondering why BSNL changed the software which is now friendly only to them and NOT TO THE USER.
