Smile how to calculate broadband usage from wireless router

I have a ZTE ZXDSL 831AII modem from bsnl, with Belkin Basic N150 Wireless router. My question is "my router starts internet automatically when I plug it with power and Modem. But I was unaware of usage, is their anyone using the same devices or anyone else suggest How to calculate broadband usage?

    ....How to calculate broadband usage?

http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...data-bsnl.html (how do i know my used data on bsnl)

You can use NetworX : http://softperfect.com
    or shaplus usage meter.http://www.shaplus.com/bandwidth-meter/
Select wireless lan card setting in shaplus. (laptop)
Install in each system you use.

compare next day in BSNL usage portal. Readings by BSNL meter FINAL>

    1. Use a bandwidth meter from Networx. It has provision to synchronize data from other instances of Networx installed in the network (if one is configured). Networx is free and has graphically details statistics with graph.

    2. Or you can install a bandwidth meter (one from Networx or Shaplus recommended) and calculate the usage manually. Please note to select proper adapter to monitor (you can find this under settings).

    3. Check your BSNL portal. Whatever the bandwidth meter shows is not related to BSNL. BSNL use the portal data (which gives usage by all systems) for billing.

    4. If you use data.bsnl.in, you can use a Firefox / Chrome add on called Datafox.
