With whom did you check ? Visit the local exchange and talk to SDE or JTO and see if wired broadband is available in your area. If they confirm that there is no option for wired ADSL connection, there are very few alternatives left. Since you say that there is no BSNL wired broadband, we can rule out other ISPs too. Your options are

    1. Check if your tower supports EvDO. It gives up to 2.4 Mbps speed. There is also an unlimited plan at this speed for Rs. 750 (which is by far cheapest unlimited plan for this speed). But if your tower does not support EvDO, even if you buy an EvDO card, your speed will be mere 144 Kbps. So make sure that your tower support EvDO before purchasing.

    2. You can try WLL phone which gives 116 Kbps unlimited for Rs. 210 (including phone rent).

    3. Also some rural exchanges are allowed to give certain no. of wireld DSL connections to ensure internet connectivity in the area. Check if there is any such plan.

currently I am using a BSNL 2G data card

The speed you will get on WLL will be no superior but you get unlimited bandwidth in this offer.

    Hope this helps.

Hope it is 30 KBps and not Kbps. Without 3G not possible to get higher speed.
