I am using asus router i cant access some sites like yahoo, indian railway etc all other sites are working good can you help?

Change. MTU /MRU values . Try 1492 or 1480

download TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net
select optimal values. Check MTU MRU selected.

HI essbebe MTU/MRU value is 1492 unable to edit ip add or dns in modem when i tried to edit the page it is not highlighting i tried it in system but same as before still unable to log in to yahoo

What are the other options in WAN connection type BOX ?On top.


Are you on Dialer("bridged" )mode or
PPPoE mode (userid/pw stored/entered in modem wan page )


did you try Try TCP/IP optimizer. ??

My modem is working in PPPoE mode Yes i tried TCP/IP optimizer it gave the MTU value as 1500 I came to know from another thread that if we change the MTU value to1430 and i tried that it was working but i have problem with download speed Now i changed the value to 1476 and its working very fine
