Thread: Need help configuring beetel router

Hi

I was using Airtel for Beetel 450BXi ADSL2+Router. It was working absolutely fine. I somehow went to admin page (192.168.1.1) and to the page for configuring filter MAC address.

Somehow I clicked on ALlow list with empty table.

Now I am not able to connect over wireless or on LAN.

On LAN it assigns me incorrect IP 169.254.100.1 ... if I try to put a static IP 192.168.1.3... it gets successfully connected

However, even then, I am not able to navigate to 192.168.1.1

Is there any way I can reset the stuff.

Also, since I have closed my airtel account, they wont edit it remotely. What is line interface in router.

I have reset using the small round button.. keeping it pressed until I see DSL light (I dont have any connection on line). The name of network connection has changed so it looks like it has got reset. however, lan connection still has invalid ip.

Please help asap..

No, I couldn't access 192.168.1.1.. that is I couldn't access the menu pages of router.

I can see 'broadcom' (the default name), in the available wireless networks on my WIFI. But I dont know the default wireless password.

It assigns me to 169 network address, I'm not sure if resetting the router resets the firewall rules as well.

I think this is a duplicate thread. answered elsewhere. today. to find out wifi security key for SSID Broadcom.
