Thread: ADSL2+ WiFi with Reliance Broadnet

Hi,
I have purchased Dlink DSL-2750u ADSL2+ wifi device with Reliance Broadnet. but they do not provide support for wifi. somehow i configured it and it started working.
but problem i am facing is some websites are not opening. ping to site gives this result
"Ping request could not find host yahoo.com. Please check the name and try again."
i guess it is related to DNS problem.

has anyone configured ADSL router with Reliance Broadnet?

Dlink DSL-2750u ADSL2+ wifi device MTU

check MTU value. Normally in the WAN menu page where you enter userid/PW
Default 1492. lower it to 1480 and try.
Modem/router similar to WA3002_g4. ( see guide below )
If not seen, download tcp/ip optimizer from speed guide.net.

Mention whether you have to log in for Reliance in Browse ??)
Give details of the ADSl modem supplied by them . (ZTE XZxdsl831AII???)

I have to login using browser to start internet.
relinace has provided me ZTE Zxdsl 831 II ( sltnet.lk/adsl_pdf/ZXDSL_831_IIBrochure.pdf )

some how websites which were not opening day before now they are started opening without doing anything.
Thanks for providing setting. still some time i am facing the problem, so i'll try changing MTU setting.

one more thing i want to know is , with simple model it was changing my PC IP to public IP. now it keeps 192.168.*.*

With simple modem:

With WiFi modem:
